Happy Christmas by Meridth Gimbel

Saturday, 22 December 2007 @ 18:03

I found a new artist today. Her name is Meridth Gimbel and she is an illustrator. Introducing herself on her blog, she writes:

I’m a Children’s Book Illustrator. I have three cavities, and a pocket full of change.”

I enjoyed this piece that she posted on her site and shared with Illustration Rocks! (a blog of illustrators from Brigham Young University) as a digital Christmas card and thought that you all would as well. Check her out; she has a lot of excellent work.

Official calendar syndication for AIGA Salt Lake

Saturday, 22 December 2007 @ 9:50

This might be old news, but I just discovered it. Our local AIGA chapter has redone their website and along with it came an official calendar feed. It appears that AIGA has built a system that automatically builds templated sites for each of the chapters and are moving them all over to a standardized format.

job announcement form no longer requires account

Sunday, 19 October 2008 @ 18:50

I am pleased to announce that the job announcement form on the website no longer requires the user to be logged in. This is significant as most people posting job announcements are managers, human resources staff, or recruiters and therefor have no reason to have an account. If you are someone that only created an account to post a job, please send me a note so that we can remove your profile.
