DESCRIPTION:337 South 400 East will open its doors to the public for the
  first time on Friday\, May 18\, 2007 from 6-11 p.m. as the interactive 
 exhibition and contemporary art space\, 337 Project. \n\nSince February 
 of 2007\, Salt Lake City contemporary artists\, non-profits\, and busine
 sses have been working on a collaborative project to paint\, tag\, sculp
 t\, animate\, carve into\, and build onto the interior and exterior spac
 es of the once-grey stucco office building at 337 South 400 East. The bu
 ilding\, purchased by Adam and Dessi Price in July of 2006\, is slated f
 or demolition in June of 2007 in order to make way for Utah's first\, al
 l-green\, mixed-use loft-style condominiums.\n\nThe two story building h
 as been divided up into constituent parts - rooms\, doors\, floors\, cei
 lings\, and walls. These spaces were distributed through a lottery syste
 m during the initial meetings\, through the final configuration continue
 s to evolve as artists join and collaborate. The content of the artwork 
 created at 337 Project is determined by the artists alone\, with minimal

 seven years as a Board Member\, the last four as a Vice-President. Terry
  serves on the Link Executive Board\, having helped found the Link art o
 utreach program in Seattle. He co-chaired the Oodles of Doodles For Your
  Noodle project: an award-winning activity book for hospitalized and ser

  1pm. We will be setting up lighting\, and shooting models. I wanted to 
 give everyone a little taste of what its like to shoot for stock photogr
 aphy. Models will be signing (istock) model release forms\, so you can a
 ctually use these for stock! If you have any props you can bring\, pleas
 e do! This could include just about anything that would create a concept
  in a photo. For example\, a laptop could be a prop for a business perso
 n\, etc. Copyrighted objects (mickey mouse) can not be used for stock ph
 otography.\n\n*Location:* We are going to shoot at the *6th west 6th sou
 th space *so that we can shoot inside and out. Everyone will need to par
 k under the overpass.\n\n*Directions:* since 6th south is a one way stre
 et\, everyone will need to go down 7th south\, turn right (or north) on 
 6th west\, drive one block to 6th south\, turn right on 6th south and th
 en park under the overpass on the left. I will try to have a sign out th
 ere... and I will be standing out there as well\, lol.
