The premiere of the Utah Family Film Festival is this weekend in Orem at the University Mall Theaters. They have a great line up of award winning films. The festival starts Thursday and runs through the weekend, 7-9 June.
Many of us in Utah love the Sundance Film Festival and its selection of world-class films. We feel lucky to have such a prestigious event in our own backyard. But like us, many of you probably don’t feel it’s the best venue for a family outing. But what if there were a family friendly festival with the same award winning, high quality films? And what if there were films in the same place that appealed to your six-year-old, your teenager and you? … The Utah Family Film Festival is a truly independent festival dedicated to finding and supporting the many talented, independent filmmakers that are making compelling, funny, and thought provoking films of exceptional quality. Our goal is to bring families together to share and discover great films in a community setting.”
