Position:
Fundraising Graphic Designer
$10,000 - $30,000

Description:
Temporary for 1 year

Under the direction of the Creative Services Department, assist in designing and creating printed materials for the Institutional Advancement department specifically designing fundraising materials. Assist in designing and producing professional illustrations for use in college publications. Contribute to the art production of the quarterly alumni magazine and other College Marketing materials.  

Required skills:
(1) Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process;

(2) skill in computers and computer applications, including PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator on a mac platform;

(3) ability to design quality communication tools;

(4) ability to use a digital camera;

(5) ability to produce professional illustrations by hand and on the computer;

(6) interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;

(7) ability to communicate orally and in writing.

(8) experience working with a charity or fundraising campaign preferred.  

Required experience:
ssociate's degree in Graphic Design AND one year of full-time paid experience related to the summary of duties; OR any combination of post high school education and/or full-time paid experience related to the summary of duties totaling three years. Part-time experience is prorated.
