We are hiring a designer who can work on both in-house and Galileo Creative Agency projects. You will get to design credit cards, websites, print collateral, the occasional trade-show booth and many other diverse and interesting things.

Required skills:
* Strong design portfolio showing conceptualization and production of ideas.

* Proficient in the Mac environment.

* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite 3: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver (Flash is a plus, but not required).

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Mac): Word, Excel, Power Point, Entourage

* Strong presentation design skills (Keynote / Power Point).

* Strong business skills, including written and oral communication, knowledge of basic business and financial terms.

* Experience with metrics-driven design (SEO, analytics, etc.)

* Experience with time-tracking and client billing.

* Ability to track multiple projects in various stages and handle the pressures of time constraints.

* Desire to be a strong creative resource as well as drive the business side of Galileo Creative.

* Desire to be part of a team that will grow and change with the needs of Galileo.

* Ability to occasionally work extended hours, possibly on short-notice, ability to be flexible with schedule based upon business needs.

* Willingness to help on non-design-related projects as needed.

Required experience:
* BFA with an emphasis in Graphic Design or equivalent education.

* 2-5 years of experience in the graphic design profession (agency experience a plus).
