Position:
Part-time photographer
$10,000 - $30,000

Description:
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Creative Services assist with managing, coordinating and shooting photography assignments (on campus, general, studio, and event photo shoots) for University Marketing. Assist in Maintaining, upgrading, archiving, and uploading photography to our internal servers and flickr site. Taking, editing, and archiving photographs for the major campus publications including UVU Magazine, Recruitment and UVU Now, in addition to all other print materials, under the direction of the Lead Photographer.

Required skills:
1) Proficient in Photoshop CS4, and knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign.
2) Knowledge of digital photography, and studio photography.
3) Knowledge of flash photography equipment.
4) Ability to communicate effectively.
5) Ability to interact with people on an individual basis and in a team setting.
6) Skill in organizing and archiving photos on a computer and department server.
7) Skill in photo shoots as a photographer in a studio setting, and group settings (Published photography preferred).   

Required experience:
Graduation from an accredited institution with an Associate degree and two years of related experience; OR any combination of education and or experience related to the summary of duties totaling four years.
